William Ernst, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic.

Graveside services will be held 11am Saturday, May 30th at Riverview Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to UR Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580 in William’s memory.

William was born April 1, 1949 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Raymond Ernst and Mary Carroll. Early in his life he worked for Two Guys as a janitor, Burger King, and McDonald’s. Later William went to work at a school in California. By age 49, William moved to Newark. Eventually he moved into the Spa Apartments in Clifton Springs. William loved helping people.

William leaves behind lots of friends at the Spa Apartments and a dear good friend and care giver, Kathy Impson.
