Mike Hample, age 67 passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 12th at Resthaven Cemetery, Phelps.

Contributions may be made to the Phelps American Legion Post 457 in Mike’s memory.

Mike was born July 2, 1959 in New York City. He was the life of the party and could light up a room with his infectious smile. Mike was a natural caretaker with a gigantic caring and loving soul. He enjoyed deer hunting, golfing, motorcycles and four wheelers. He was a member of the Phelps American Legion. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by all.

Mike is survived by his son, Randy Hample; stepsons, Joel (Megan) Weston and Travis Benoit; grandchildren, Sabastian Hood – Benoit, Lucy Lincoln – Benoit, Christopher Weston, and Kaylee Weston; siblings, Jim (Donna) Hample, Chris (Pat) Howard, Christa (Matt) McClement, Mike (Renee) Myers, Ray (Tina) Weston; mother in law, Wanda Weston; nieces and nephews, Michaela Christensen, Mackenzie Wychoff, RC Weston, Brad Hample, Trisha Dejohn, Christy Howard, Jeremy Howard, Justin Howard, Emily Wilson, Abby McClement; longtime dear friend, Rich DeWolf and many special friends.

Mike is predeceased by his wife, Raelene “Rael” Hample; parents, Raymond and Charlotte Howard; father in law, Raymond Weston Sr.; biological parents,  John and Patricia Hample;  brother in law, Randy Weston; granddaughter, Katelyn Benoit.
