George O’Neil, age 90, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday April 2nd from 11am to 12pm at the R.A. Patrick Funeral Home, 26 W. Main St., Clifton Springs. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12pm.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the House of John in George’s memory.

George was born October 25, 1935 in Conquest, NY, the son of the late Roy and Ruth O’Neil. Before his retirement George was a machinist and part owner of Wright Components in Phelps. He belonged to the Wayne Drumlins Car Club and played steel guitar in a country band. George enjoyed model trains and antique car models. He also enjoyed mowing and taking care of his lawn. But most important to George was his family.

George will be sadly missed by his wife of 68 years, Marian Jenner O’Neil; children, Carl (Michelle) O’Neil, Rhonda (Al) Deporter, Terri (Dan Huntsman) Donk, Dawnn (Kevin Anderson) Vanderwall, and Danny O'Neil; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

George is predeceased by his parents; son, George Jr.; sisters, Janet and Joyce; brother, Tommy.
