Gary Schreader, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at FF Thompson Continuing Care Center.

There will be no services at this time.

Contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes in Gary’s memory.

Gary was born July 25, 1947 in Seneca Falls, the son of the late Grant and Thelma Schreader. In 1968 Gary was drafted into the Army where he served two years as a Petroleum Specialist. He enjoyed antiquing. But most important to Gary was his family whom he loved with all his heart.

Gary will be sadly missed by his daughter, Sandra (Robert) Frere; grandchildren, Marissa Young, Alivia Malory, and Emma-Leigh Provost; great grandchildren, Jaylen Donovan, Phoebe Cummings, Iris Cummings, Nicholas VanVleck, and two expected great grandsons in 2026; sister, Vicki Schreader; many nieces and nephews.

Gary is predecease by his parents; son, Gary Schreader; brother, Terry Schreader
